Confirmed gates
The Roblox Badges API lists Defeat T-Rex, Defeat SPHINX and Defeat MAMOTH as the first, second and third zone champions. The Welcome badge is a join reward and is excluded from progression.
The names establish order and gate type. They do not establish race length, enemy behavior or required Speed.
Awarded counts
On the 2026-10-02 API snapshot, T-Rex had 1,479,185 awards, SPHINX had 486,562, and MAMOTH had 16,366. Welcome had 4,742,793.
Using Welcome as the denominator, those are about 31.2%, 10.3% and 0.35% of badge holders. This is a participation funnel, not a difficulty score.
How to use the funnel
A large drop from one gate to the next tells you where the player base thins out. It does not tell you whether the cause is Speed, economy, time or interest.
Use it as a checkpoint: before entering a new gate, train only until a comparable race or gate attempt can be tested. Then diagnose the actual failure.
Unknown boundaries
Required Speed, carry penalty, prize tables, lobby size and timing rules were not present in the captured official data. Do not treat community numbers as official.
If a zone attempt fails, record whether you lost before the gate, during the race, or while carrying an Egg. Those are different dependencies even if they share Speed.
